I Henry give this recommendation statement as a Disability client that requires specialised high needs care for high needs issues. Also having been in Disability Management myself whilst have my own disability at the time for 17 years before no longer being able to remain in the workforce. 

 

I am a Quadriplegic C6 and C7 from a diving accident.  

 

Shorty after the injury I developed a Syringomyelia at C3 and C4 which is the development of a fluid = filled cyst within the spinal cord. The cyst which is called a syrinx grows larger over time and continues to increase damage the spinal cord and causes pain, weakness, severe spasms and stiffness.

 

Resi Care Queensland was suggested to me via a client of theirs that informed me of the professional care they received from a company that takes time to match carers with the right person, to suit there needs both physically, mentally and emotionally with the correct training to provide the correct care the individual requires. 

 

Having contacted Resi Care Queensland and after requesting their policies and procedures,  I also was provided a face to face meeting with management that took a sincere approach to ensuring they knew exactly what my needs were. After which I was provided with staff interviews so I could meet and choose the staff that I felt comfortable bringing into my home.

 

Having had multiple staff provide me with a high standard of professional care I would strongly suggest that Resi Care Queensland be considered as a extremely viable option for NDIS clients requiring complex care from a company that cares but also has the management and staffing to ensure correct and professional care is given to their clients.
